All In The Family coming to DVD

The sudden goldrush to release great classic TV to DVD continues, with the 3/19 street date for All In The Family: The Complete First Season, courtesy of Columbia TriStar. This three-disc set is pretty straightforward, featuring 4:3 full screen transfers, English mono tracks, English and Spanish subtitles, and no real features of note, except for "Episode Selection." Retail is $39.95.

The great thing about TV series being released on DVD is you get to see them unedited, unlike the versions you see on the reruns on TV! I look forward to "All in the Family" being released and hope future seasons of the show are released soon. I have the first season of M*A*S*H on DVD. Hopefully, other shows get on the DVD bandwagon!

Is it going to be also released on VHS? Because if they do, I'm definatly getting it!
