:confused: I'm starting to get concerned about wheather or not were going see a season 2 release. There's no mention of it at Shanachie's website. This company is new to classic tv on dvd, and I wonder if they got in over their heads.:confused: Initially it was to be released in early 2012.

(I initially misspelled the name of the company, just corrected it) Its SHANACHIE!

Does Schanzie's website have a place where the public can contact them to request titles or ask questions? If so, we should all contact them and request release of season 2 soon!

I googled Shanachie and found a live e-mail address for a Randall Grass at the company. Just for grins, I sent him an e-mail and expressed disappointment that season 2 of Car 54 has not yet been released. I was shocked to get a reply. He said that season 2 is set for release in Feb 2012. :)

:eek: WOW! I'm surprised too!! I'm so glad you checked up on that. Really odd there's no information about its release anywhere. February's only 5 weeks away! I hope they announce it officially soon.

Finally! The formal press release!! Car 54, Where Are You? Season 2 will be out April 10th!!:) :) I was so afraid we wouldn't see this released. Thankyou Shanachie!!

Not my type of show, but for those who like it it's good that the 2nd season DVD will soon be available.

I "GET" Retro!, He's just letting his fellow classic TV fans that He's happy for those that are into C54WAY. There are DVD releases that I'm not particularly interested in, but I'm always glad when any classic tv series is released.:cool: Anyway, I'M thrilled about [I]Car 54! :D

I'm a fan of the old shows, but my tastes are pretty selective, the number of shows I dislike is greater than the number of shows I enjoy. With the exception of Gomer Pyle, I'm not a fan of sitcoms about the military or police. So no, Car 54 isn't my cup of tea, although the episode where they try to get the old lady to move out of her apartment is rather funny, that one is pretty good.
