And there IS one.The writer of the very good first season(1966-1967)Christmas episode "Christmas and the Hard Luck Kid"(did he write any OTHER "That Girl "episodes?),is the SAME person who worked on "The Mary Tyler Moore"show and now works on "The Simpsons".Name him.

Christmas and the Hard Luck Kid(which was one of the BEST first season(1966-1967)episodes should have been nominated for an Emmy,but wasn;t,and didn't.

They also share an actor: Ted Bessel played Ann's boyfriend Donald on That Girl, then he became Mary's boyfriend Joe, hehe.
