Ana Gasteyer Describes Playing an 'Alpha Martha Mom' on "Suburgatory" (VIDEO)

Ana Gasteyer appeared on "The Wendy Williams Show" to talk about her new show "Suburgatory" and the character she portrays on it.
You know what I like about this show, it's the fact that it has no laugh track so you have to plug in your own laughs. I love that.
Yes, it makes it work.
It kind of has a "Desperate Housewives" feel to it.
It's great. It's in single-camera, Jeremy Sisto plays a single dad of a daughter. They're from the city and decide to move on over to the suburbs for a "better influence". You know, with the way the show presents things, it's not much better.
We play a kind of insane, exaggerated version of the American rural family, you know the sex-starved mothers. I play an Alpha Martha mom.
