Knoll,Hatch,Butterworth and Baxter.Besides Harry Knoll, who appeared a lot on the show during the NBC years, did Hatch and Butterworth ever appear on the series?
Butterworth,Knoll,Hatch and Baxter......Mr Butterworth (the senior partner) appeared in Pot Luck a la Mode Episode 1 Season 3....Mr Hatch was mentioned a few times but I don't believe he ever appeared.

I've seen Mr. Butterworth in at least 2 episodes recently and of course Harry Knoll in many more. One thing that throws me is in a few of the episodes George calls Harry "Howard" and so I figured that Harry may be a nickname for Howard? Or maybe they just thought Harry sounded better as they started using his character more.

Hazel was one of those series which changed character names as the series evolved. Harry Noll (yes, that spelling is correct according to the credits), was earlier referred to as Harry Williams in some episodes. In a first season episode, Lauren Gilbert, who played Harry, played an entirely different character. This was a common practice in sitcoms back then. These shows were not written with an eye towards reruns and classic status. The writers felt that no one would notice a name change or even a character change over time. Good character actors (of which Mr. Gilbert was one) would be used often in these shows. One of the joys of these classic shows is the steady parade of fantastic character actors who pass through them.
