I don't know if people know this story, but I'll tell it anyway:
I just watched a documentary on adult film star John Holmes, John Holmes: The Man, The Myth, The Legend (2004), and they explained this interesting story.
John Holmes was a liar, he always told lies to make himself sound and look more interesting than what it really was. Around the time he first went into the industry he told the pornographers making the movies that he used to star in "Leave it to Beaver" as 'Eddie Haskell'.
So the pornographers wanted to make money off of this and they put in their video descriptions on the pornos: "Starring Former Child Star in 'Leave it to Beaver' - See Eddie Haskell in Action!"
To their surprise they were contacted by the real 'Eddie Haskell', Ken Osmond, who also happened to be an LAPD officer and he demanded that everything be set straight.
They had to stop mentioning 'Eddie Haskell' and "Leave it to Beaver" on their pornos after this. They honestly thought that John Holmes was telling the truth about his past on "Leave it to Beaver".
