I was just watching TV Guide Channel and they had a special on the most unforgettable finales. I thought I would share it.

I do agree with most all of them, but I feel The Golden Girls should have been on the list. It was a very emotionally charged episode. I also think that The Cosby Show and Little House on the Prairie should have been on there. All in all not a bad list. :)

They had #7 Seinfeld, #5 Cheers, #17 Frasier, #19 Arrested Development, #3 Mary Tyler Moore, #13 Dallas, #24 Family Ties, #16 Dawson's Creek, #21 The Hills, #23 24, #15 Magnum PI, #6 Lost , #1 MASH, #18 Friends, #4 Newhart, #25 Will and Grace, #10 The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, #22 The X-Files, #20 The Shield, #9 Roseanne, #14 Sex and the City, #12 St. Elsewhere, #11 The Wonder Years, #8 Six Feet Under, #2 The Sopranos.

It's definitely worth checking out. The link I posted is when the episode will air again so you can catch it if you so choose.

Glad they included Seinfeld and of course Frasier! I agree that LHOTP should be included as well. That is definitely memorable! I know I'll never forget it!

The Dick Van Dyke Show should be on the list as well. It had a final episode that brought the story full circle. Alan Brady bought Rob Petrie's autobiography in order to turn it into a sitcom about the head writer of a TV comedy show. And this was in 1966 long before series finales became the modus operandi!

Schmoopie you really should watch it because there is a segment during the Frasier bit where Jane talks about the meaning behind the reason that Daphne and Niles' baby was named David. She does mention it was because of David Angell the creator of the show but she said that "he was our little angel named after an angel" or something like that. It was very sweet and I'm glad they included it. :)
