Tina Mucklow Found: D.B. Cooper Hijacking Flight Attendant Discovered
9/2/11

In a new twist to the legendary D.B. Cooper hijacking case, CNN reports that the crew member who spent the most time with Cooper on the plane, flight attendant Tina Mucklow, has been found.

Cooper pulled off what CNN describes as "the only unsolved hijacking in U.S. history" when, in 1971, he jumped from a 727 with $200,000 in ransom.

He was never seen or heard from again.

The New York Daily News explains that Mucklow acted as a go-between for Cooper and the flight crew. The FBI said she spent more time with the hijacker than any other crew member.

After the flight launched her into the spotlight, Mucklow entered a Catholic nunnery outside Eugene, Ore. She left the convent in the 1990s and changed her name.

CNN left several unreturned calls to Mucklow's residence.

The Mountain News has current pictures of Mucklow.

This is only the latest development in the mysterious hijacking case.

Earlier this month, the AP reported that a law enforcement member directed investigators to a person who might have useful information on Cooper.

Then a woman named Marla Cooper told ABC's "Good Morning America" that she believes the infamous skyjacker was her uncle, Lynn Doyle Cooper.

The FBI soon shot down that claim.

Interesting info. On a completely irrelevant note, that guy in the middle looks like Bob Crane.

That's the pilot in the middle, I recognise him from the UM broadcast.
