"Drop Dead Diva" is breaking out the Brandy.

TV's former Moesha will guest-star as a sexy nurse on the Sunday, Sept. 4 episode of "Drop Dead Diva" for a multi-episode arc that may stretch into next season, and TVGuide.com has the exclusive first look.



Brandy's character is an old flame of Parker (Josh Stamberg) and seeks out his legal advice when her father's life insurance company refuses to pay out his policy.

"I've been a huge fan of Brandy from her earliest days in television," creator Josh Berman tells TVGuide.com.

"When we met to discuss her role on 'Diva', she was so warm and kind. I was thrilled to discover that she had actually watched every episode of the series and is a huge fan. I'm excited for the viewers to see Brandy's arc."

Will Parker finally get to have a family?

We'll find out in this Sunday's episode of "Drop Dead Diva" when his son Eric shows up at the firm, unbeknownst to his mother Elisa (returning guest-star Brandy Norwood). Parker (Josh Stamberg) — who had gone in search of his son last season after Elisa dropped the bomb that Parker had fathered her child — will finally get to bond with Eric, but will Elisa be OK with that?



"This season, Eric wants a relationship with his dad, and Brady's character ends up going head to head with Parker over the future of their child," executive producer Josh Berman says.

"We loved Brandy on 'Drop Dead Diva' last season and we're thrilled that she's coming back for an awesome arc."
