Im having trouble with my computer

I have posted this on the board but I wanted to update you. My computer was freezing up and a lot of problems with it. Now, my computer keeps freezing and sometimes whatever site Im on, shuts down. What should I do? All it says is that "Internet Explorer has stopped working" and Windows has no solution for my problem. Its really annoying.

Same thing was happening to my computer several months back, and it turns out that it was the router. What I did to fix it was I'd pull out the plugs, and then plug it in again after 5 seconds. This happens to me daily, and this is what works for me everytime. Not sure if it's the same problem you're having, but it's worth a try. I know how annoying these things can be. Goodluck to you.

you aren't really giving a lot of necessary information - what version of Windows are you using, is Internet Explorer crashing or is the whole computer shutting down, have you updated and scanned with your antivirus and anti spyware programs? have you tried booting into safemode, have you checked the device manager for driver problems?
