Farrah Fawcett's Son Redmond O'Neal Arrested For Heroin Possession....Again

Farrah Fawcett's troubled son Redmond has been arrested on suspicion of drug possession and violating probation after a police officer allegedly found heroin in his car.

The 26 year old's vehicle was pulled over by a Santa Monica cop early on Tuesday when O'Neal ran a red light.

Heroin was reportedly found during a routine search of the car.

As WENN went to press, the troubled Hollywood offspring was being held without bail, pending a court appearance.

O'Neal has battled drug addiction since his teens and has been in and out of jail and rehab clinics numerous times for crimes related to substance abuse.

He was behind bars when his mother, Fawcett, died in 2009. He was temporarily released so he could attend her funeral.

I have a feeling he's not much longer for this world. Ryan O'Neal will never win any Father of the Year awards for his hand in raising Tatum, Griffin and Redmond (his son with Leigh Taylor-Young, Patrick, seems to have escaped the drama).

So sad - I know Farrah wanted her only child to overcome his demons. Redmond was also born the same year as my brother, which just makes it even sadder to me. May God bless Redmond and help him find his way.
