Has anyone heard of the new show The Lying Game? I work with ABC Family, and I’m here to bring you all the details about this summer’s newest drama! The Lying Game tells the story of Emma and Sutton two identical twins who were separated at birth. Once they finally meet each other, they decide to switch lives for a few days…only to have one of them mysteriously disappear. And added bonus, it’s based on the book series by Sara Shepard – the Pretty Little Liars author! It’s going to be full of mystery and intrigue, so make sure to catch it all from the beginning on Monday, August 15 at 9/8c!

i was really disappointed with the new show The Lying Game. I read the book the lying game and was disappointed to find out its nothing like the book. I think if it was anything like the book it would be your next pretty little liars and more and more people would be watching. But i think that you completely ruined the show by making it your own. I really really liked the book and was really excited about the show coming out but it just makes me so mad that your company completely went against the book. This show is nothing like the book and in my opinion a disgrace to the book. If the people at abcfamily wouldn't have changed anything and kept the show just like the book. i believe and i know a lot of other people believe abcfamily could have made a lot more money and it would have been the next big hit. I will not be watching this show.

Sincerely,
A very disappointed fan

The Lying Game turned out to be a terrible horrible totally offensive show.
I couldn't imagine it being as bad as it actually was. What a vicious, unfor-
givable waste of my time. I'm still mad about it!

I thought the show was fine. I didn't read the book so I have no idea how much the show varies from it. But most shows based on books don't follow them to the letter. Anyway, I'll continue to watch it.

usually yes if a show is based off a book they dont go strictly with the book. But this show switch almost everything about the book. The only thing the show used is that they are twins.. You would really like the book.. the book is about the twins and the adopted twin sees images/talks to her twins spirit. she goes to her twins house to tries to find out who killed her or if shes still alive somewhere but when she goes the family thinks that shes the twin and so she has to pretend to be her so she can solve the mystery. Which is where the name the lying game comes from because the rich twins friends play something called the "lying game".. its a really good book and keeps you on your toes.. i would recommend this book to anyone that likes a little mystery but the show.. just upsetting

^The book actually sounds really interesting, I'll have to check it out. Is it a series of books or just the one book? From your description, it sounds like the book is entirely different from the show, but I still kind of enjoy watching it. If I had the read the book first, I might have different feelings about it.
