I remember one segment that starts off with a guy who video taped himself before he said he was going to kill himself and claimed he was diagnosed with inoperable prostate cancer. It has been so long since I saw the episode , I don't remember all the specifics of it, but it was really erie. I had it on tape but not anymore. Wish I knew how to obtain a copy but it seems very hard now adays.
That was a segment on the 1988 disappearance of Charles Southern. The man in the videotape was Don Hoffman, who was married to a cult leader named Terri Hoffman.

Yes, now it is coming back to me. The cult leader lady had a creepy looking expression in all the pictures. Have not seen this one in years. Thanks Kane.

It's such a difficult segment to find! It's been at least a decade since I last saw it.

Creepy is right and quite the understatement about that woman. I haven't seen the segment in quite some time myself, but if I remember correctly, an autopsy performed on Don Hoffman determined that he did not have cancer at all, and there were about 10 or 12 other people close to Terri Hoffman who met with untimely deaths (including 6 others who committed suicide). While these deaths have never bore any strong enough evidence to warrant charging Terri Hoffman with murder, I can't help but wonder if Don Hoffman and the others who committed suicide did so because Terri Hoffman somehow convinced them into believing that they should.
