Wax Museum owner murdered in Texas

Does anyone know if there was an update to an episode from years ago in which a woman was murdered at her house in Texas. (poison in nyquil) She had 2 place settings for dinner, but no one knew of anyone who visited her on the night she died. She owned a wax museum w/ her sister somewhere in Texas & was very affluent. Her ex husband (I think) and current boyfriend were cleared as well as her sister and brother-in-law. any updates out there ????:talk:

I remember that segment very well. The murder took place in the fall of 1987. The woman died after drinking her cold medicine, which was laced with strychnine. I learned from the segment that strychnine has horrible side effects, and is therefore deemed "an unusually cruel way to die."

Lifetime reran the story a month or two ago, but there's still no update. So this means the case remains officially unsolved.
