In tonight's episode "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," he managed to catch the killer in the exact same way Columbo caught Dr. Flemming in the first Columbo pilot "Prescription: Murder," back in 1968.

I've never watched The Meantalist but my curiosity has been tweaked now ... I'll have to catch an episode.
