I've seen one episode and it was quite interesting. One guy paid $500 for a storage unit and it was full of collectible toys (most still in their original packaging) that turned out to be worth thousands of dollars. Another guy paid $5 for a unit that only contained the mirror from a dresser. But he sold the mirror for $30 so he still made a profit!

I love this show. I don't know if I have a favorite, but I do dislike Dave with a passion. But reality shows are usually more entertaining when there's at least one person that you love to hate.

I love this show too. Such characters! Where did they find them! Brandy and Jerrod are fun to watch. And I love Barry's gloves. I wonder who all those people are we see in the background--they dont even get to bid half the time. And I wonder how many people will start going to these storage unit auctions too?

I watched a bunch of episodes of Storage wars one night and I kind of liked it. I think the cast plays it up a little bit too much for the camera IMO, but they do know their stuff about antiques and misc, stuff.

Except of course for Jarrod and Brandi. He is a doofus. And Although she thinks she's knows more, Brandi is just as clueless.

I almost cried when I saw the ep where Jarrod buys a unit that has a bunch of vintage Mego action figures in mint condition - and he thinks they were just worthless "toys!"

It's a good thing he took them to be appraised, becasue they were worth thousands of dollars!

He doesn't deserve to have those figures! :mad:

I love this show too. Dave is such an A-hole. Every time I hear his annoying "Yep!" and see that smirk I just want to punch him. Barry is my favorite, I just love his voice. I sort of have a little crush on him even though he's old enough to be my father. I don't have a problem with Jarrod but I think Brandi is a complete bitch. I so wanted Jarrod to leave her because she so awful. I was so upset when I noticed a child's drawing behind her and took that to mean that they have kids.

I would love to see one of the "other people" win a unit so we can see the look in the main characters faces every once in a while.

I too love Barry's gloves and he likes the history behind what he is getting appraised.

Dave is my second favorite character on the show :doh:>YEP !!!
Brandi my 3rd favorite on the show is quite the looker :grineyes:

Once in a while Darryl shows a bit of compassion and he is my least favorite character on the show :whatever:

I agree. So if she comes off as a "bitch," I'd say it's well deserved.

That "yep" from Dave is sooo annoying! When I want to bug one of my friends, I do it like that too, and they know immediately who I am referring to!
I wonder if anyone watching at home will ever recognize the junk coming out a unit and remember that they forgot to pay their rent! And now its on tv making someone else a fortune!! LOL

Love this show! At first my biggest dislike was the big mouth blonde guy that is always looking for the "wow factor" but now Dave has far surpassed him. My fave would be the eccentric "collector" and of course love watching the married couple give each other a hard time.

cablejockey - Lol, yes I wondered the same thing. Can you just imagine watching them going through a locker and realizing it was your stuff!
