I think I remember a similar topic to this, however I don't think it was totally along the exact lines I'm thinking of...

It was something like, has anyone ever noticed any particular locations that have appeared more than once in different UM segments and if so what/where are they?

But my reason for this thread is not only locations, but also 'sets' or 'interiors' that were maybe used. Was watching a piece recently and I could swear that the exact same kitchen/inside of a house was used in more than one UM segment (I could be wrong because I can't find the other segments just at this moment although I am searching for them).

The segment in question is that of the bar owner whose brother died telling him something unrepeatable on his death bed and the remaining brother was left to look after the bar with the license revoked - the brother was then a likely subject of a hitman breaking into his house via the back (kitchen) door and killing him.

I could swear I've seen this kitchen in at least 2 other segments...

Anyone else noticed any duplicates?

I have noticed some aerial footage of an airplane flying over a tree filled scenic location offhand. It was on the Tommy Gibson and Michael Rosenblum segment and it seems like another one that I can't remember offhand.

They used the same footage of a man with an argyle shirt running in the darkness from a light. I know this was in the Veronica Jefferson and Rachel Raver, also I believe it may have been used on that girl that was a college reporter that was killed by a student that dated her ex roomate

Just spotted another one so thought I'd add it.

I think the original segment was about a boy who went missing in a rough part of Chicago(?) after he took his prized motorcycle out for the first time. His mother and her friend went out dressed as bikers asking around for information...

The same footage appears in the Amy Billig segment, when her mother supposedly goes searching for information - it's the same clip used, when the women go to the bars/bikers for information.

There is a shot I have seen reused a few times. It is set on a rocky hill in a wooded area and a search party wearing bright orange jackets is climbing up the hill, in search of a missing person. Then, a member of the search party (the one closest to the camera) stops momentarily, cups his hands around his mouth and yells out the missing person's name - the audio is dubbed here accordingly with the man yelling either "Keith!" (Reinhard), "Nyleen!" (Kay Marshall), or "Tommy!" (Gibson).

This footage may be in other segments as well. Any time the subject of the segment goes missing is a woodsy area, you'll probably see this clip.

There is an aerial view of the Las Vegas strip at night that they have used numerous times, probably in every segment about a Nevada/Las Vegas case. I would guess it was shot in 1986 or 1987 because it was first used in the Robert Weeks segment from special 2. However, they used the same footage for years. The Las Vegas strip has changed so much since then. I can't help but chuckle a bit whenever I see that dated footage.
