I just rediscovered this cartoon on Boomerang and I really like it.

I don't really remember it (a bit too young) but I caught it on Boomerang when we had a free weekend (nope, don't usually get it) and I thought it was kind of neat, too. Obviously heavily influenced by the then-current popularity of the Beatles, etc.

I liked it and Frankenstein JR that ran as a companion to it.

they really haven't been showing it much - only as an interstitial short a couple times per week, and of those Boomerang keeps repeating the same group of episodes over and over
hopefully they'll show it in the half-hour format again at some point.

Yup, Boomerang has succumbed to to the same thing that's ruined all the other Channels!

for the 4 weeks leading up to this thread Boomerang showed only 1 or 2 of the 6 minute shorts as interstitials, the week after this thread they aired 13 episodes!
...and so far this week they are again back down and have only aired 1 episode so far this week.
