Giving Anything Up?

Just wondering, any one else on here give things up for Lent?? If so, what? This year I'm giving up horror movies and junk food.

I'm not giving up anything in particular. And at my age I am past the required age for fasting. I should still abstain from meat on Fridays, Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, but I don't do that anymore for health reasons. So, my approach this Lent, rather than giving up something I like, is to work on those areas in my life that I need to improve, like becoming more patient, being less contentious with people and practicing more empathy toward others, and taking more time to pray and read God's word and simply to grow in my relationship with God.

For Lent this year, I am going to give up on: Junk Food, and eating too much:)

Not spending a dime on anything...but that'll be difficult since I don't have much food in my fridge and it's snowing out there.
