He was on The Today Show this morning, talking like a lunatic. Here's the interview. He looks tough too, imo. A few interviews.

I know he supposedly passed a drug test, but the man looked and sounded like he was tweaking. I've worked with addicts, and I wouldn't be suprised if he's taken meth in the past week.
The paranoia, delusions and denial should all be a red flag that he's not as "clean" as he claims.
Did anyone else see the live backyard interview on TMZ.com this morning? Sheesh!

Charlie's sickening. He's non-apologetic. He doesn't seem to see anything wrong with anything he's done. He 'thinks' he's cured because he used his mind. I don't think, imo, that things are going to get better for him. He's on a downhill spiral and he thinks he's invincible.

I think it's time the media stopped giving him all this attention and letting him ramble on and on. If there is one thing Charlie Sheen does NOT need it is more publicity and attention. He needs help.
I saw him briefly on the Today Show this morning as I was heading out the door to work. He said something to the effect of "No one can understand Charlie Sheen because he cannot be understood with a normal brain." Eeeks! He was also rambling on about how CBS owes him more money and he's their rock star.
I actually felt sort of bad for him, because he has no idea how much damage he has done to himself and he doesn't seem to recognize that he needs help. :(

He might be a quack and a clown. I don't know him. I don't think I've ever seen him speak. He produces good sitcoms though. Charlie also said he hasn't heard from any of the cast. I'd think if they were on his side, they would get in touch with him. If they all pulled together, they could probably get Lorre off the show. I don't think they support him though. Charlie just looks like a madman with all his rantings. Even if some of the things about Lorre is true, this isn't the way to go about it. And nobody forced him to sign up for 2 more years either.

I agree, but hey you're talkin' about contemporary American media here and they are just being their usual good for nothing selves.--A sidenote:I don't watch 2/12 Men , I don't think it is a good show, however I have nothing against Charlie Sheen. He has a certain likeable quality about him which many so-called celebs these days don't have.

Sheen is going to be on 20/20 tonight. I'll watch. He's like a car wreck. Just have to slow down and watch. :happyface
I had the 20/20 interview set to record, but after the media blitz he's been on in the last 48 hours, I decided to cancel the recording. I don't think he'll say anything he hasn't already said on NBC, TMZ, RadarOnline, Piers Morgan or Howard Stern.
I'm sure we'll hear lots of utterances of "gnarly," "bitchin'" and "winning," though.

Very true. Charlie is in so much denial about having a problem that it's almost funny. Ok, it's not funny, but his antics and words are beyond ridiculous. He actually thinks that he has cured himself by blinking.
I think he should donate his brain to science, just kidding. ;)

Anyone else hoping that Emilio Estevez is keeping a serious distance from Charlie right now? He must not be crazy right now over the fact he's related to Charlie.
I must admit I caved and recorded it, and watched it in its entirety. It was sad to see the contrast between 1999 Sheen and 2011 Sheen.

No clue, Tweety. As a straight guy, there are guys whom I can UNDERSTAND ladies finding attractive, though obviously not to be personally, and this guy just isn't in that category.
Of course there's much more than physical attraction to a person, but unfortunately for Charlie, he ain't got any of that stuff either. He's apparently as sharp as a wad of Silly Putty (those dreary, ridiculous 9/11 theories, anyone?). He doesn't seem to have any discernible sense of humor, nor does he seem particularly sensitive (yeah, what was my first clue, right?) or kind (love the way he treats his "ladies"...NOT).
Guess we'll just have to chalk this one up to "who knows...?"

^ Unfortunately, I'm at work during that time (unfortunately not because I would miss the show, but unfortunately because I loathe my job, while being begrudingly grateful for it). People occasionally have it on for the ten minutes I'm in the break room; when I see it on, I generally leave. ;)

It's going to be a long time before I'm able to enjoy the movie Wall Street again. Charlie is basically a whitebread Kanye West and he's not even good at being arrogant like Kanye is.
Also, Charlie Harper has nothing on Dan Fielding. Dan was smooth and sexy, Charlie is just a full on lump of a sleaze.
For those talking about Emilio in this thread, American Dad made Emilio cool again. :)

Michael J. Fox dismayed to be drawn into Charlie Sheen mess
With Bill Zwecker Mar 9, 2011 2:09AM
Michael J. Fox, shown last October, reportedly objects to Charlie Sheen citing his illness as a reason his “Two and a Half Men” contract should be honored. AP
Sheen has said CBS and Warner Bros. will have to continue to pay him if the network and studio produce “Two and a Half Men” without him. The man who has made “Winning” his tagline said he had a clause inserted in his contract, mirroring one in Fox’s former deal for “Spin City.” Basically — according to Sheen’s claims — Fox’s salary continued even after he left to battle Parkinson’s disease and was replaced by Sheen.
My Fox source called it “a case of apples and oranges — very different issues. Michael left due to a serious disease, plus he had producing responsibilities on the show … all part of his continuing compensation.
“Michael is extremely upset that Charlie would draw him into this bizarre conversation — at this point, and after so many years.”
People at the Live Nation events-promotion company, where Sheen met with execs Monday, are salivating over the big bucks they know they can make on a Sheen speaking tour (that reportedly would include Chicago). But there are concerns about whether Sheen could complete the itinerary without one of his famous breakdowns, crackups or other serious incidents.
Sheen finally added his longtime “Two and a Half Men” co-star Jon Cryer to his personal enemies list on Tuesday, telling E! News, “You’re with me or you’re with the trolls. Obviously he’s with the trolls. … Jon has not called me. He’s a turncoat, a traitor and a troll.” Sheen sneered that Cryer merely issued a statement — though the actor has yet to issue any statement about Sheen or his departure from the show.

He needs to be commited, now.
http://www.lifeandstylemag.com/2011/03/large-1112-cover.html
After weeks of erratic behavior, Charlie Sheen finally admits--in an interview with Life & Style--that he's falling apart.
"I'm really starting to lose my mind," he confesses to Life & Style. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."
It's a shocking turnaround --the first sign of vulnerability he's shown throughout this whole circuslike period. But when estranged wife Brooke Mueller was granted temporary custody of their 2-year-old twins, Max and Bob, it sent Charlie into a tailspin. "She can't keep them from me," Charlie tells Life & Style. "I won't let her -- I'll do anything to get them back."
And he's apparently become so desperate and ravaged by the effects of addiction, his words are becoming more and more frightening.
"I'm really trying to contain myself right now," Charlie tells Life & Style. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."
Loved ones fear that having his kids taken away along with the news of being fired from Two and a Half Men could push him over the edge. "It's crazy over here at the house," says a source who was with him on March 7, the day the news broke. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
Another insider agrees, "Anything could happen at any minute. He's a danger to himself -- a really big danger."

"My Very Best" doesn't exactly mean much these days...
I agree. Where is his father? He's been very quiet lately.
I would be surprised if he wasn't busy trying to get some sort of power-of-attorney over his son. I'll admit I don't really know how these things work, but based on Martin Sheen's previous actions and statements, he's probably trying everything in his power to save his son's life.
