There was a segment where a woman was running from intruders I believe she had been raped and ran into a post, which either killed her or knocked her out. Anyone remember this?

The case you are thinking about is Jessica Keen. Jessica was abducted by a man one night, escaped from him, and was chased through a cemetery. She ran into a fence post, and her abductor soon caught up with her and killed her.

In 2008, Marvin Lee Smith, Jr., was arrested for her murder, which he soon confessed that she did indeed escape from his car, and beat her to death with a tombstone. He was given 30 years to life for her murder.

Oh I know! I remember seeing this on another true crime show and I think it occurred in Ohio, right?

Yeah, the "observant" cops said hitting the post killed her, and failed to notice the hole where a small stone was ripped out nearby, or where it was tossed right on the other side of the fence.

Yes, just west of Columbus in Madison County.
