It's the best sitcom of the 50's besides Lucy... I like Wally and Eddie the best! You'll get to catch up on some of the episodes by watching the next fandemonium of LITB ;)

Cast of characters:
Barbara Billingsley- June Cleaver
Hugh Beaumont- Ward Cleaver
Tony Dow- Wally Cleaver
Jerry Mathers as the Beaver
This show takes place in the lives of the Cleaver family. Unlike other tv shows, this show is told from the point of the view of the children (Wally and Beaver) Wally and Beaver get into all kinds of situations. They try their best to undo their mistakes, but it usually just makes the problems even worse. If Wally and Beaver can't get into crazy situations by themselves, they have the help of Eddie Haskell (Wally's friend- Actor's name is Ken Osmond). In the early episodes a character that started out as a bully, became Wally's friend (Clarence "Lumpy" Rutherford- Actor's name is Frank Bank).
Here is a typical plot of an episode of LITB, this happens to be one of my favorites. :)
It's Wally's birthday.Instead of a party with his friends and family, Wally would rather go hang out with Eddie Haskell and go to the movies. Beaver has saved up enough money to buy a camera for Wally's birthday present. Beaver gets upset when Wally doesn't want to hang out with him. When Beaver's friend, Larry Mondello (Actor's name is Rusty Stevens) comes over they go out to buy the camera. Larry convinces Beaver that he's better off buying a bow and arrow set for himself, then waste money on a brother that doesn't even bother to invite you to the movies with him. Beaver and Larry get to the store and buy the bow and arrow set.
Meanwhile at the Cleaver household, Wally decides how disappointed Beaver looked when Wally told him he was going to hang out with Eddie. Wally decides to hold a party and invite Beaver to it. Larry and Beaver are now walking home with the bow and arrow set. They decide to open it, and begin using it right away. When they open it, they discover that the bow and arrow set isn't put together like it was in the store. Larry tries and puts the set together, but it breaks. Larry ditches Beaver immediately when the set breaks.
Beaver walks home with the busted bow and arrow set. When he arrives home, he hides the bow and arrow set in the garage. He goes inside with the cheap present he has bought Wally. He only had a little bit of change left over from the bow and arrow set, so he had bought this cheap little 49 cent toy. It was a paddle used for one player ping pong playing. When Beaver goes inside he is surprised to see his parents, Wally, and Eddie Haskell ready to throw Wally's birthday party. Beaver is ashamed of his present now. He sees the watch that his parents bought Wally, the check from their Aunt, and even Eddie Haskell bought him a cool telescope. (The best lines occur in this scene from Eddie Haskell- I want even try to tell you the things he said when Wally opened Beaver's present)
June and Ward are suspicious that Beaver left to buy Wally a camera and came back with a cheap toy. Ward calls the store and finds out that Beaver and Larry bought a bow and arrow set. They ask the Beaver about it, and Beaver confesses to his parents that he did buy a bow and arrow for himself. Ward comes up with the solution that Beaver just take the set back. Beaver is too scared to tell his parents that the set is broke. Beaver takes the set and walks around the block numerous times. June and Ward call Beaver in the house and ask him why he hasn't took the set back. Beaver explains that the set is broken, and he was to scared to tell mom and dad. The lesson learned in this episode is that you shouldn't be afraid to come to us for any situation that you get into.
I hope this helps you guys that haven't seen the show, but it really is a funny show!

Wow, what did I miss yesterday? :D I check this board everyday to see if there's something new, and on most days there is, but not this much activity!
It's good to see that we have some new fans of the show on here. I've been a fan of LITB for a year and a half now, ever since I got TV Land on cable. It sure is a great show, isn't it? I have nearly all of the episodes on tape now, just missing about 5 or 10. I haven't been watching the schedule too closely lately to see if any of the missing episodes are coming up, I really should do that, though. I am mostly focused on getting I Dream of Jeannie on tape now, and I have been missing some of those eps lately, as well!
And Jenny, that was a wonderful description of the show. Thanks for helping out those who are unfamiliar of the show. :)
Good to see everybody here. Please come again soon!
