Last night, my mother (who for some reason likes this show) turned on the TV halfway through an episode, where (I think) Alan and Charlie argue in public, which Jake finds so embarressing, that he refuses to go to their house the following weekend. But when Alan and Charlie go to Judith's house to get him, Judith yells something like "yes, I know they're both losers, but now you suck it up and go with your father". And I'm baffled by this, because neither Jake nor Judith has any right to call Alan and Charlie "losers".
I can understand, that Jake might have been embarressed by his father and uncle. But him calling them losers? How lame is that? Even without getting into the "respecting your elders" issue, which I don't even support all too much, it sure is a good example of the pot calling the kettle black. What does the kid do himself except eat and fart? I know he's only, what, sixteen years old, and a lot of kids that age are immature and don't know what they're going to do with their lives. But except for one episode, where he considered becoming a chef, he hasn't shown any promise in any area. And meanwhile, Alan and Charlie not only have jobs and can support themselves, but they've also supported him and his ungrateful bitch-whore of a mother. So what right does he have to call them "losers"?
And where do I start on Judith? Well, I've never expected much from the bitch-whore, of course. But still... Has the woman ever had a job in her entire life? Because she's spent at least eighteen years now sucking money out of men, even after she gets tired of them and throws them out of her house. There's nothing wrong with being a housewife/stay-at-home-mum, my own mother is one, but she's not even a good wife or a good mother. She's a total failure in everything except bitchiness and whoring. So she should just shut up about Alan and Charlie, no matter what their short-comings may be.
