"Sons of Anarchy" has been renewed for a 13-episode fourth season, FX announced Thursday.
"FX is grateful to Kurt Sutter and his team of writers, actors, directors and crew for working so hard to make a show that achieves both those levels of success.
We congratulate them and look forward to season four," FX President John Landgraf said in a statement.
Now in the middle of its third season, the motorcycle drama is FX's highest-rated series ever, averaging 4.9 million viewers for a first-run airing and is basic cable's No. 1 scripted series in the 18-to-49 demographic in 2010.
Its third-season finale is scheduled to air Nov. 30.
