Law & Order: Los Angeles lined up an impressive cast even by the franchise standards. Terrence Howard and Alfred Molina join the newest edition as alternating D.A.s in the standard half cop/half law drama. Howard believes his return to TV will improve his movie career, he told media in a conference call on Tuesday.
“What’s interesting is a couple years ago I was in Toronto and bumped into Reese Witherspoon,” Howard recalled. “She said, ‘You’re doing too many movies.’ So I had to think about what she said and it was true. I was just jumping on whatever I could jump on because I just wanted to keep working. But with this TV show, I call it a film because it feels more like a film, I’ll still be able to go do one or two good movies a year, but I would like to do one or two good movies every couple of years but still be able to keep up with my craft. I’ll do less films but better quality of films.”
