Meredith Viera was on last night's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno".And he asked her two questions from yesterday's daytime "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire",which she hosts. And "The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno"is filmed in Los Angeles.Which leads me to this question:If they were to decide to move the daytime version of "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire"from New York to Los Angeles, what would happen then? And if it remained the same as the New York game(by that,I mean just contestants,no celebrities),what would happen?

...but keep in mind that Meredith is currently based in New York primarily because she's an integral part of NBC's "TODAY SHOW". If "MILLIONAIRE" were to move to Los Angeles, she's have to commute between there and the East Coast at least once a week to tape five consecutive shows- and that would conflict with her daily appearances on "TODAY". The primary reason she became the emcee of "MILLIONAIRE" was because it's easier for her to appear on both shows in the same city {taping at least two afternoons of "MILLIONAIRE" in advance every week, with occasional "guest hosts" filling in for her}, as well as owning a "piece" of it and being "executive producer". It would be impossible for her to keep that arrangement going if the series were to be relocated to Los Angeles....she'd have to give up one or the other.

And another question:Is "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader"going to be,from now on,ALL CELEBRITY,no non-celebrity contestants anymore(Gosh,I hope not)? The reason I am asking this,is because for the past 2 weeks it has been all celebrity:This week, the Ringling Bros./Barnum and Bailey Circus -last week it was The Harlem Globetrotters.Just curious.
