I went to WBshop.com and sent Warner Brothers an email telling how I'd love them to release It's a Living on DVD, as well as other shows they own like Mama's Family, Alice, Eight is Enough and Murphy Brown.
Hey, it can't hurt--and the more people they hear from, the better chance we have.

I'm afraid I did that already. I sent Warner Archive a twitter message and they replied "Those are all great suggestions, but I'm afraid they are currently unavailable for WAC to release."

That's interesting, I got a response saying:
"Thank you for your interest and your suggestions. I will pass them on the the approprate department.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again."
It can't hurt to express an interest anyway. Even though my Wish list has gotten shorter (many thanks to Shout!), there's still lots left:
It's a Living, Mama's Family, Alice, Murphy Brown, Eight is Enough, Phyllis, Dobie Gillis, Five Mrs. Buchanans, Delta, and stalled series (mostly Sony product) Maude, One Day at a Time, Mary Hartman, Charlie's Angels, The Nanny, Hazel, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, Donna Reed, Mod Squad, Police Woman, Growing Pains, 227.

I hope they consider releasing it. I'd love to see the series on dvd. I was disappointed when I got that response. Hopefully, it was be a suggestion they take seriously.

Somehow their response smells of total b/s.
Why not?? this way fans who want these shows would get them and they wouldn't be making sets that would go unsold.
