Forgive me for making such a random topic. I was wondering about something I saw on the new Unsolved Mysteries...I cna't really remember much of it. I think it might have been murder or something. Anyway they got a lady on the case...she was a pretty blond woman with long hair and she was good at composite sketches. I think she had a method where she sat the people down and the people would relay details of the person in the sketch so the lady could draw them with the most accurate detail. I can't remember her name..nor the case she was featured on...does anybody remember?

I remember her too, but of course, I'm drawing a blank on the name. IIRC, she was able to draw composite sketches of people she'd never seen and they were as good as portraits.

I'm sure someone else remembers this and will post her name for you.

Jeanne Boylan is the woman I think you're referring to. IIRC the case she was working on was a Los Angeles murder in which the victim had been burned in his car. She is famous for her "Unabomber" and Polly Klaas suspect sketches, and was the artist behind the sketch of the Molly Bish murder suspect.

she also pops up in the "Theresa" segment, about the lady who was raped twice in her canoe while her young son was forced to watch, on Memorial Day. She drew better composite sketches than the ones that had been previously done.

She also did a sketch for the suspect in Molly Bish's disappearance.

UM won't be on TV tomorrow. For some reason, lifetime loves running those Project Runway marathons on Thursdays. That's usually the day that I have the best chance of being able to watch afternoon TV and there's no UM! :(

However, Jeanne Boylan's segment is on the schedule for Friday.
