"Vampire Diaries": Simon Miller signs on as the leader of the pack

Ancestry is key on "The Vampire Diaries", and the Lockwood family is no exception. We're about to learn a lot more about the Lockwood family curse -- in case you've been living under a rock, they're werewolves.
Now, Simon Miller has been cast as the patriarch of the Lockwood pack, George Lockwood.
Miller, a professional photographer, is a relative newcomer to acting, though you might recognize him from short roles on "Gossip Girl" and "CSI" or his indie movie Between Love & Goodbye.
Miller's first episode is "Memory Lane," the fourth episode of Season 2. Ladies and gentlemen, we have flashbacks! The episode, which is currently shooting in Atlanta, will introduce the Lockwood ancestors for the first time.
