Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has joked that she will strip naked if the ABC comedy wins at the Primetime Emmy Awards on August 29.
A poster campaign previously promised that the actress - who plays Gloria Delgado Pritchett - will run nude on Sunset Boulevard if the show wins. Vergara has now agreed to the light-hearted campaign, on the condition that she does not have to run.
"I cannot run, I have bad knees," she explained. "I was planning to... speed walk. That's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to run."
She added that her on-screen husband Ed O'Neill, who plays Jay Pritchett, will join her in the streak.
"Ed is ready to do it too," she claimed. "He told me, 'Sofia, if something happens, I'm ready'."
The second season of Modern Family will premiere on ABC on September 22.
