Did you know that "That Girl" and "Bewitched",during the first and second seasons had the same producers, only reversed?By that I mean that the first season of "That Girl"the producer was Jerry Davis, who produced "Bewitched"s second season, and the second season of "That Girl"was produced by the late Danny Arnold ,who was the first season producer of "Bewitched".Weird, huh?

And how many actors guest starred on "Bewitched" and "That Girl",besides Mabel Albertson (Donald's mother) ,John Fiedler(the Christmas 1966 episode called "Christmas and the Hard Luck Kid"),and Paul Lynde(1967's "These Boots Werren't Made for Walking")?

Oops!My mistake:Paul Lynde's episode was 1967's "These Boots Weren't Made for Walking"not "These Boots Werren't Made for Walking".

And there was another connection:Both Samantha and Ann had at first a hard time getting liked by Darrin and Donald's mother.

And there was another connection:Both Samantha and Ann had at first a hard time getting liked by Darrin and Donald's mother.Examples:In first season's 1964 black and white episode of "Bewitched"called "Samantha Meets the Folks",with Dick York as Darrin,Samantha had a hard time meeting with Mrs.Stephens'approval(but did) and in first season's 1966 episode of "That Girl"titled "Soap Gets In Your Eyes",Ann had a hard time meeting with Mrs.Hollinger's approval(but did). And in both episodes Darrin's father liked Samantha and Donald's father liked Ann.

and another connection: ABC used to show reruns of both shows back-to-back on weekday mornings in the 60s.

When they were on Thursday Nights in the 1960's,they were must-see-TV.But it's odd:On Thursday night in the 1960's,"Bewitched"was a ratings hit (at least during the Dick York as Darrin years)."That Girl",alas, was not.Why was this?
