Happy weekend! My Father's 56th birthday is Sunday!

I plan to have a nice relaxing weekend - have Monday off so I plan to go to my FAV (as in FAV FAV FAV) food store Trader Joe's and snag some bargains - which is EZ - all you pretty much have to do is just grab ANYTHING there LOL.

Watch some DVDs, clean and pack my lunches for the week on Monday's. Thank God we have a nice big fridge @ work and so I can bring in skim milk, veggies. salads & cal reduced casseroles.

& maybe check out something nice in one of the boroughs

I will be working Saturday and attending church on Sunday. Other than that, nothing else planned.

We have had some heavy thunderstorms pass through here. I may hang out with some friends this weekend if its not too bad out.

The continuing heatwave in NYC has driven me to the suburbs. I'm hanging with Mom and Dad this weekend in the central air conditioning. Hopefullly I'll go for a hike in the local park tomorrow morning.

Today was my Father's 56th birthday. We cooked bone-in Rib Steaks for him
and his birthday cake was a white cake with white frosting. I got him The Fugitive
(1993) and Chisum on DVD for his birthday presents.
