HBO is looking to sell its hit vampire show "True Blood" to basic cable networks, report Paige Albiniak and Jon Lafayette in B&C.
HBO Enterprises President Charles Schreger is handling HBO's efforts to sell the show in the U.S., and although the pay-TV network has held meetings to pitch the program, the show hasn't sold yet, the report says.
The program's third season debuted June 13 with 5.1 million viewers, and its just-announced fourth season should debut next summer.
