I'm sure Carter Country made it into syndication as I was not old enough to remember when it was originally on but have seen the show... but where and when was it shown?
Posted by NCVARick:
I saw it in reruns around 1981-1982 in Charlotte, NC.

I had just started high school when Carter Country first aired, so it had to have been around 1978 or 1979 time frame. Because it was off the air long before I graduated in 1981. It was a funny show, but it did not seem to grab an audience, even though we had a southerner in the white house at that time (Jimmy Carter), it still did not seem to do well. I think it may have lasted 2 seasons, if that long. But I enjoyed it while it was on the air.

I managed to find one ep of this show and that was enough-lol But Honestly I would have to see more eps to evaluate the show.

The last time I remember Carter Country on TV was probably 1982.
