What was "The Tony Randall Show" about?

It was abot a middle aged judge (Randall) with two kids and a maid.

wow, sounds pretty boring.

Actually, it was a very funny show. Tony Randall played a Philadelphia Judge named Walter Franklin. His character was similar in some respects to Felix Unger (but he was not a "neat freak" - his comebacks to comments from others were similar to the lines he would use in response to something Oscar Madison would say). He had a young assistant named "Mario Lanza" who was studying to be a lawyer (he attended "Ed's Law School").
Unfortunately, this very entertaining show only lasted one season.

It was a good show, also starred the wonderful Allyn Ann McLerie and Barney Martin as Jack Terwilliger, who 12 or so years later, became Morty Seinfeld.

Thanks Sar! I could not remember the names of Tony Randall's co-stars on this show. As I recall, there were some particularly funny exchanges between Judge Franklin and his housekeeper. Thier relationship was similar to that of "Benson" and Kraus" on the show "Benson" - they were always taking little shots at one another (although I think "The Tony Randall Show" preceded "Benson").
