What's this I'm hearing about 'Ben' from 'Growing Pains' finishing up negotiations with George Lucas on being THEE Anakin Skywalker in the next 'Wars-flick? Please verify this with me, someone. Thank you. Man! Cast alongside Natalie Portman?! Jeremy will have it MADE IN THE SHADE if that's true! He better get to work on the set and make some moves on her. Don't think she's dating anyone, is she? Go get her Jeremy!

I have relatives in Hollywood who are all insiders, so here's the skinny - the role is indeed down to Jeremy Miller and River Phoenix's brother, the one who played in 'America Beauty'. Miller's definitely got the inside track and is more than likely to be offered, and accept, the role as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Star Wars sequel in 2002. Should be in the news within a month or two, so keep your eyes open. This is all very ironic in that the one who WAS going to get the role as Anakin Skywalker, Leonardo DiCaprio, is a 'Growing Pains' alumn and so is Johanna Kerns (Mrs. Seaver) who's going to portray one of the members of the Jedi council, 'Sheba of Malderon', in this next flick. She will indeed be in scenes with Yoda and Sammy's (L. Jackson's) character. I guess mother will be giving son advise again; only this time to NOT GO TO THE DARK SIDE! I just can't wait to see it! Sorry...Lucas went into filming TODAY and it is not with Jeremy Miller. It was some kid who is a little less known.

Jeremy Miller IS NOT going to play Anakin, and NEVER WAS going to play Anakin! Jeremy Miller? The man can act, but you need unknowns to fullfill the very major roles in the Star Wars legacy. Anyway, does that answer your question?

The boy whos playing Anakin is Hayden Christen (A Canadian). I don't see ow that rumor spread. Lucas goes after unknowns. He knows that we know that GP is a known show, ya know?!
