Responding to rumors stirred last week that a proposed ABC talk show for Tori Spelling would mean the cancellation of "One Life to Live," ABC Daytime PR chief Jori Petersen said the network is committed to the soap continuing, reports TV Guide.
Petersen told the publication, “We want 'OLTL' to succeed and are doing everything we can to facilitate that. We want the show to be fantastic and robust. There are no plans for cancellation.”
Petersen also told TV Guide that the addition of Jean Passanante as associate headwriter was not a signal that headwriter Ron Carlivati would be let go when his contract was up.
