Was Throb Jane Leeves first regular sitcom role? Had she appeared in any other series pre-Throb?

I believe Throb would have been Jane Leeve's first American sitcom appearance. I do know that she was a dancer on the Benny Hill Show in the early 80s in her native England. I also believed she appeared on a number of Britcoms and soapies as well. Hope this helps!!! :)

Jane Leeves was in Double Trouble?!? Gosh, I don't remember that at all. Of course, I don't remember much about the show period, other that Katey Seagal's twin sisters stared in it!!! :)

She's not listed in The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows under the Double Trouble cast.

I think there's a mistake at the Internet Movie Database because they list her as 'Blue' on Double Trouble when she actually played 'Blue' on Throb...

No Jane wasn't in "Double Trouble" . . which I have never heard of. At least I don't think so. But yeah she was in "Blue" and definately "Throb".

Jane Leeves never appeared on Double Trouble. I've never seen Throb. I wish they would air this show on tv again just so I could see Jane with big hair. :D

This is WAY beyond cool!! I have met so many people who look at me like I have three heads when I mention this show because they've never heard of it. As far as "Double Trouble", that show had Jean and Liz Sagal in it. They were twin sisters. I believe they're Katey Sagal's sisters. It was on NBC, and it was pretty funny.

No Double Trouble wasn't a spin-off of Throb. DT premiered in 1984 and Throb in 1986.

Yeah, I thought so. I think I read that at jumptheshark.com, but I had doubts, because as you said, DT premiered in 1984 while Throb didn't premiere until 86.

I had never heard of Throb until ten minutes ago. :eek: Has it been aired any time recently?
