Insect show?

I am trying to remember a cartoon from the 80's and am having little luck. It was about a bunch of insect-like humanoids fighting and if I recall correctly it aired before Thundercats weekday afternoons. If anyone remembers the name of this show it will make me very happy. Thanks.

I don't know about insect's, but Silver Hawks used to come on before Thundercats in the mornings and afternoons.

I don't remember when silver hawks aired. But I know I am not crazy (I have action figures from the insect show) and I could almost swear that I used to watch it and thundercats back to back. Were these cartoons syndicated? Is possible that different regions aired the shows at different times.
