HBO provided Entertainment Weekly with your first look at Joe Manganiello ("One Tree Hill") as the werewolf "Alcide" in the forthcoming third season of "True Blood".

Premiering June 13, the image displays Manganiello alongside his new compaion, Sookie (Anna Paquin), sniffing out clues to help them hunt down a kidnapped Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).


There has been a lot of build-up and anticipation for the third season of the Alan Ball series, which is adding a lot of new blood.

More goodies from the HBO camp as it was revealed that Don Swayze (brother of the late Patrick) will be playing a character named Gus in several episodes of the third season of "True Blood", along with Vincent Ward, who will play a werewolf named named Hollis who owns a wolf bar, reports On the Red Caret.


In addition, we've got a STACK of new images from the forthcoming third season that premieres on June 13th.
