After the debacle last fall, I'm surprised DC is involved here. The rest of the cast scheduled to appear: Shirley Jones, Danny Bonaduce, and Brian Forster. This reunion airs on Tuesday, 3/2.

I'm shocked that Susan Dey isn't involved in the reunion! NOT!!! But I am surprised and disappointed that Suzanne Crough and Dave Madden won't be there.

Actually, I read here that Shirley Jones is likely to appear via satellite since she has a concert in Illinois a couple of days after that.

When Danny Bonaduce had his show, he had a reunion that included David Cassidy (via satelite), Shirley Jones, Dave Madden, Brian Forster and Suzanne Crough. And I remember another reunion that even included Jeremy Gelbwaks and Ricky Segal. (TVLand ??) But Susan Dey never participated in any reunion.

They explained Dave Madden's absence by saying that he hates flying. Why they couldn't have hooked him up via satellite like they did for Dianne Kay on the EIE reunion, remains in question. :confused:

Well, I won't fault him for that because I hate flying too.

I saw him make a surprise appearance on Danny Bonaduce's old TV show, and I swear he was on oxygen at the time, so I guess I assumed he was in poor health. That reunion was, to me at least, quite genuine and touching; Danny really seemed to love Dave. :)

^ Danny said that Dave was a second father to him and spent almost every weekend during filming at Dave's house. He said Dave was a better father to him than his own father. They still keep in close touch. :D
