There is a young member of my family (don't want to reveal who it is for the sake of privacy) who was just diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. This relative has to undergo surgery soon and has had to withdraw from school for the rest of the semester - and obviously has a tough road ahead.

Thanks, everyone! This is my cousin, Colin, who is 21. He has now posted his own status on Facebook so I feel more at liberty divulging more info. He is in good spirits, and I will keep everyone posted.

Thank you all so much!! I have spoken to Colin and he is in very good spirits. We don't know when the surgery will be yet but at least we know what's causing the seizures and that he can be treated. I appreciate everyone' support and prayers! :wave:

I'm glad to hear that Colin is in good spirits. Please continue to keep us informed of his progress and surgery dates (when you find out) so we can continue to support Colin and the rest of your family with our prayers.

Yes, I will let everyone know when the surgery is scheduled as soon as I find out myself. I've already put Colin's name on our church prayer list, as well.
