Nickelodeon starlet Amanda Bynes has grown up and gotten herself a spread in Maxim.

"Some people still see me as a kid, but I'm a 23-year-old woman now," she tells the lad mag.

Amanda draws the line at porn but has a Leonardo DiCaprio loophole.

"I want to show people who I am," she said. "My parents were like, 'Does this mean you're gonna do sexy movies now?' I said, 'Well, if they're done the right way, then maybe!' I mean, I'm not gonna do porn, but if it's a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever..."

So true. I don't know what she's trying to prove here, but I'm sorry, she's just not the sex kitten type. It's so wrong seeing pictures of her like that.

2) She's doing a photoshoot. Of course she has lots of make up on.
3) Her chest was "enhanced" by photoshop. Look at any recent pics of her, they absolutely don't look fake.

100% agreed, First why am I getting involved in this thread discussion?, Many young stars pose for semi-sexy pictures when they are fully legal in their 20's, which is the case with Amanda and were known for being cute child stars, its a right of passage, sort to speak....there are at least 10 of them, I can only think of a few right now....Danica McKellar, The Olsens (they never did Maxim, but have pose for very provocative pictures) ....anyone else that would like to add to the thread and think of others?....this isn't Playboy, they are tasteful pictures in the new world of "Maxim" type magazines, where celebrities who need a boost go but don't need to shed all their clothes.....I still say way to go Amanda!

Dont get me wrong, I have no problem with the pictures cuz I think shes a cutie, but the problem I have is the contradiction she has done. I am paraphrasing here because I dont remember where the interview was from but she said "...i'd never do sexy pictures because thats not me and I dont see the point in it." Again thats paraphrasing, but this was said not that long ago. I know people change and she was still a teeny bopper when she said it so maybe im just being too nit-picky (new word hah).

Like most of these "risque" photoshoots, the lady in question isn't wearing anything more revealing than you could routinely see at the beach. It's the poses and expressions that make it seem at least "semi-naughty".

I dunno. I guess it's sort of sad that aging teen pop stars often think they have to do this to stay in the public's mind, but really, I don't see what it is hurting. I guess if I had a kid who adored her I'd be a little hesitant, but it's not as if she were 17 or something. When people get older, they do "older" things. Se la vi.
