I used to love that show when I was a kid. I also would like to know what the guys name was that played the hero because his name slips my mind and also does the show come on anywhere anymore? I always liked the way he crash landed from flying when I was a kid I thought it was hilarious!

Sci-Fi played reruns of the "V" series a few years ago, but it's not all that great. The original two miniseries, "V" and "V: The Final Battle", are excellent, though. I've seen them both turn up on various cable stations over the years, and they're also out on VHS and DVD (at least the first one is on DVD). I've seen them for rental at Blockbuster, too.

That's correct. In fact, Joey Scarbury's recording of the "Theme from 'The
Greatest American Hero' (Believe It Or Not)" went all the way to the No. 2 spot
on Billboard's Top 40 on June 13,1981 and remained on the charts for 18 weeks.
It was one of those instances when the theme song became better known than
the show.

William Katt, in real life, was Barbara Hale's (Della Street) son.
