Which of the hosts of the Family Feud game show was your favorite?

I would say that Ray Combs was my favorite, then Richard Dawson, my least favorite is Louie Anderson. Louie just doesn't fit into the FF host crowd- jmo.
Hottest Men alive:
Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?
Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.
Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.
Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.
[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]

RICHARD DAWSON is funny, so I like him, LOUIE ANDERSON is more of a slowpoke, especially, during the FAST MONEY ROUND

Ray Combs was my favorite. It's a shame what happened to him.

Ray Combs is my choice. Unfortunately, he experienced a number of financial, physical, and emotional setbacks which ultimately led to his decision to take his own life. He was an extremely talented and genuinely funny man. Richard Dawson was also a very good host, although he gets a little annoying when he spends a lot of time getting affectionate with the ladies (maybe I shouldn't be too critical of him - Richard Dawson actually ended up marrying one of the female contestants that he met on the show!). The Louie Anderson version of the show, to be kind, leaves a lot to be desired.

I would have to say Ray Combs. He was on when I started watching the show. Richard Dawson took over afer Ray's suicide. THen it was a long time later that I found out that Richard Dawson was the original host. I watch them sometimes on Game Show Network. I like them too. The Louie Anderson ones I think are too low budget looking and unappealing. Most of the contestants are also from different parts of California as far as I saw. The last 2 shows, people gathered from all over to play. Anyway, Ray Combs, Dick Dawson, and Louie Anderson.

I liked Ray Combs the best. I saw the E! true Hollywood story about him and it's sad that he took his own life. Richard Dawson was OK too and I see him sometimes on Match Game on game show network. I wonder if any female contestants on Family Feud ever tried to sue Richard for sexual harassment. I don't think Louie Anderson is all that funny, just annoying.
The cutest female sitcom characters had to be Justine Bateman from Family Ties and Lydia Cornell from Too Close for Comfort!

Every female contestant was asked by producers prior to the show whether or not it was okay for Richard to kiss them, and as far as I know, very few if any said no, so if they slapped a suit on him, I don't think it would have stood up in court.

I would have to agree that Richard Dawson is my favorite host, and Ray Combs is a close second, but Louie Anderson is a very close third. First, while Louie Anderson may have an annoying voice at times, he does the job well, and we shouldn't judge him on his voice. He enjoys his job, the contestants enjoy him, he has kept the game going 3 times longer than a senior-citizen Richard Dawson did in 1994, and he brings his own brand of comedy to this game. I think that they are all great hosts, and, according to a GSN Website poll, several people seem to agree that ALL OF THEM did fine jobs at hosting the show.
