The Price is Right has entertained me the most.

Hottest Men alive:
Dale Midkiff
Anthony Starke
Tim McGraw
Jonathan Crombie
Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?
Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.
Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.
Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

Definitely Match Game!
Match Game always entertained me. Not only did you get Gene Rayburn as host, but also six celebrities as the panel, and you never knew what would happen next with the personalities they put together!
And because there were no "right" or "wrong" answers to the questions, it was fun to play along and watch the answers that were given. Some answere were really hilarious!

I would say:
You Bet Your Life (Groucho Marx)
Hollywood Squares (60s, early 70s version)
I also enjoy watching the old "What's My Line" and "I've Got a Secret" shows from the 50's on Game Show channel.
"Price is Right" was a fun show to watch growing up (Holly was soooo cuuuute!!), as was "Match Game".

Sper Password and Pyramid
My pick for the most entertaining game show of all time...well I have 2, 2 unusual shows.
The Fun Factory ( 1976 ) starring Bobby Van.
Bobby Van sang these cheesy songs and then asked questions about the song to the studio audience. Then some members of the audience would play a variety of games for prizes, like the 2 married couples who rolled and threw the most newspapers in a window. GSN showed it once one late Sunday night, brought back memories for me.
The Cheap Show ( 1979 ) starred Dick Martin ( from Lucy Show & of course Laugh In ). the Contestants were asked questions. If they got it wrong then their partner was punished in a variety of ways ( eggs splattered on them, chocolate fudge poured on them, even spiders- though I always thought they were fake ). Instead of having some sexy girl showing off the prizes ( TPIR, Caroll Merrill ect..) they had wonderful Polly the prize lady- an old woman. The prizes were jokes..like a trip to your backyard.
Of course ot the end the remaining couple had a chance to win a new 1979 car, if they guess what hole Oscar the Mouse would choose to go into. Very offbeat show.
I havent seen it since it aired in Baltimore and that was in 1979.

My vote goes to the original version of "Hollywood Squares" hosted by Peter Marshall. This show featured such outstanding talent as Paul Lynde, Charlie Weaver, George Gobel, Rose Marie, and Wally Cox. It is light years ahead of the current version of the show.
ALF Rocks!!

I am most entertained by The Price is Right, Family Feud, and yes, Who Wants to be a Millionaire entertains me sometimes, but only when I watch it with my roommates. Watching it alone sucks.
I also like Jeopardy, but I don't know if I would say I am "entertained" by it. I like it, but it's not alot of fun.

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES,you never knew what stunt they had
in store for the contestants if they couldn't answer the question.
Also starred Bob Barker.
LET'S MAKE A DEAL,all those outlandish customes and Monty Hall,
plus you never knew if a deal was going to be a big prize like a
trip to Tahiti or a brand new convertable or a zonk like a trip to
the sewer or a donkey and cart!!!!:)
HOLLYWOOD SQUARES,Yeah,I agree with Jimbo, the Peter Marshall
version is superior to today's.

The Classic Game shows like 25,000 pyramid, and password were very intense and entertaining. I think these two shows are even more pressure packed than "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", which is also a very intense show.
But as far as being the most entertaining to me, I will have to say the "Newly Weds Game Show", because it tested the knowledge of newly married couples. Many of the wives would get very angry with their husbands after missing a question. And this was real, no acting was done. I found that part to be particularly entertaining.
Match Game, Family Feud and The Pyramids!!! :D

The Price is Right is probably the game show that has entertained me the most (through the years). Survivor is probably the 2nd.

Hey Jimbo -
Agree w/you 100% on Hollywood Squares...
btw, don't know if you've heard, but if you go to "classicsquares.com", the site contains great info on the original version of the show, including the fact that ab. 3,800 episodes have supposedly been found, and will begin airing on the Game Show network in June, the timing designed to correspond with the release of Peter Marshall's book about the series...that would be awesome if it's true...
the site also contains a number of classic audio sound bites from the greats, including, of course, Paul Lynde....check it out

Peter Marshall is also a radio dj too ! If you can pick up a station that airs "the music of your life" music ( Doris Day, Benny Goodman, The Carpenters, Bread, Bing, Sinatra, ect... ) you may hear him as his show is syndicated to many stations across the country. Same thing with Wink Martindale.
There is a small fm station not far from here that carries their programs. However they dont talk about their game show pasts, just the music they play.
However the morning show host is a man named Jeff Rowlands. He has in the past talked about his time being a contestant on the old Jokers Wild with the late Jack Barry. He says he was a big winner on the show- won quite a bit of money...before taxes.
It will be great to see the old Squares again as well as checking out Marshall's new book.

Jeopardy - Art Fleming's version
Wheel of Fortune - Chuck Woolery's version. Pat Sajak's over the show is lame and I can't stand that program
Password - All versions except for Password All Stars. Allen Ludden was a great host and the spirit of the show was never the same when he was too ill to continue. He displayed a great deal of courage when he came back to Password Plus after being diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer. Thank God for Game Show Network and we can still enjoy him.
Price Is Right

Treasure Hunt - Very funny
Hollywood Squares - I agree that Peter Marshall's version was far superior than today's.

My grandfather always enjoyed The Price is Right. I'd haveto say the same. His favorite person on that show was Holly! My grandfather said she was his favorite because, she reminded him of me. So that show holds a very dear place in my heart now. There are others that I like very much, but none will touch me like TPIR !!!!

P.S A few friends get together on another website and play it from time to time. Its alot of fun.

RitaL32, you and your grandfather have very good taste, because the Price is Right is one of the best game shows of all-time. The Price is Right has been around for 30 years, this fact clearly shows just how much America loves this show!
Bob Barker along with Monty Hall from Let's Make A Deal are perhaps the two best game show hosts.
Match Game, Whammy! (I love the double whammies, they are absolutely hilarious!), and Russian Roulette. :D
