In the beginning of the game the Cowboys kick a FG to go up 3-0 and Wade Phillips put his arms up in the air and starts celebrating??????????

After a 3-0 lead? Talk about a GOOFBALL

I can't argue with anything you say about him. I knew that the Cowboys would play this way when he was brought back as HC. After 2 years, you know what you get with him. Right now I have no idea how to fix this team. They are just sloppy and have been this way ever since he's been coach. They'll be lucky to go 8-8. This is the easy part of the schedule.

The Cowboys truly are an enigma... Lots of talent but they never put it together... 8-8 is what i predicted for them this year and so far I am looking good...

I think Emmit is right, 7-9 is looking more believable

The Cowboys will be lucky to go 8-8. Maybe if they can pull an upset somewhere. This was the first football season since the Campo era that I really wasn't that excited about the team. Keeping Wade Phillips was stupid. I never thought he was a good coach and he's proving me right every week. Jason Garrett can leave too. I'm not impressed with him either.

If you get your wish and Wade is gone, then who would be the new coach?

I'm surprised Phillips wasn't fired after last season.

Here it is in a nutshell.

The team has no cohesiveness, the head coach gives it no distinct direction.
There should be something to mark this team. There is nothing, that's not a contender.

There is a great running game, but no receiver threats, just decent guys.
(and they pissed away picks for Williams, will they ever learn with receivers?)

Romo is not managing games well anymore, if ever. His darting eyes make him look lost, he doesn't even know how to win with capable- no doubt not great, but very capable- people around him.

Solution?

Well, first off- Phillips gone now. Today, in my opinion.

2nd - hire Shannahan

That's it.

Resume a real draft and stop dumb ass trades, I mean what were they thinking with Williams, just incomprehensible from the start with that compensation.

You'd think they would have learned from the Joey Galloway trade.

And I thought Wade Phillips was better then Mike Shanahan. Isn't that what you guys wanted? ;).

just kidding lol
I wasn't a fan of Phillips when he was in Buffalo. Anyone that thought that Rob Johnson was starting QB material is an idiot. lol

What happened with that? I never knew Dallas had him. Who'd they trade him for?
Galloway played for Dallas from 2000-2003. We gave up two #1 draft picks for him. He was injured in his first game for the Cowboys against of all teams, THe Eagles. He was out for the year. The following 3 seasons he was never better than average. Dallas traded him to Tampa Bay in 2004 for Keyshawn Johnson.

No neither was I. I know right. He won a SB though....................as a backup to BRAD Johnson lol his illegitimate football brother .

I heard Wade was on the Eagles coaching stuff under Buddy Ryan in the '80s-late '80s. I never knew that until a little while ago. few months ago really.
I don't remember Wade with the Eagles. You learn something new everyday.
