Does anyone remember the cartoon Space Angel

yeah, I remember watching it, although Clutch Cargo was the one I saw the most back then (then early to mid '60's.) Both used the old SyncroVox system to make the characters "speak". I think the studio that produced both shows must have blown most of their production costs on giving animated characters real human mouths and lips. Thus, "animation" that was even less than what you get on South Park or other cut-out style animation.

The only thing I really remember about Space Angel was the articulated method they used to pronounce his name: "_Space_ Ang-Gel" http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
