CBS Pregame Stinks because of Shannon Sharpe

I agree 100%! Why Shannon "Marble Mouth" Sharpe is in broadcasting is beyond me.

I believe Terry Bradshaw is retiring after this year.

For some reason he was better with Greg Gumbel. Maybe it was because in those days it was just him and one other person.

Today it's him and 3 other people-lol

Same thing with Berman, in the ole days it was just him, TJ, and Robin Roberts

Yeah, sometimes too many people is not a good thing.

The Rundown of the Day is just with TJ & Berman though..

I wouldn't going out and having a beer with TJ-lol That's my dog

I agree 100%! Why Shannon "Marble Mouth" Sharpe is in broadcasting is beyond me.

I agree 150% about Shannon Sharpe. I absolutely hate it when networks hire ex-players to be studio or even sometimes, game analysis despite their inabiliity to properly articulate. There's more than simply being a big name. It's not just Shannon Sharpe, it's O.J. Simpson when he was doing Monday Night Football and later, NFL games for NBC, its Magic Johnson when he was calling NBA games on NBC, its Tim Hardaway when he was in the NBA studio for ESPN, and more recently, it has been Emmitt Smith on ESPN.

In fairness, Charles Barkley doesn't necessarily sound like a Rhodes Scholar himself. Dizzy Dean, when he used to do play-by-play for baseball games on CBS and ABC back in the 1950s and '60s also wasn't necessarily a master of the English language. But they had some weird, brash vibe and energy around them, in which they actually enhanced the broadcasts rather than dragging them down.
