Hell no, I live in the south where NASCAR is almost a religion, and I HATE IT. I call it ASSCAR, and cant understand why people want to watch 5 hours of a bunch of guys with adspace on the uniforms driving around in a race car. Its like DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO? Or IS THERE A FOOTBALL GAME ON WHERE THERE'S NO NUMB ASSES SITTING AROUND OGING IN CIRCLES OFR 5 HOURS?

The most boring sport to watch next to golf...They love it in the south. They even have radio networks set up for it. It's bad enough to watch it on tv but try listening to it on the radio.

It's boring as hell. If all the drivers actually got out of the car and ran around in their undies like they were on fire like Talladega Nights,THEN I might watch

Can you just imagine EXTREME paint drying?? :rofl: I never understood the appeal of NASCAR myself, but my brother and brother-in-law just love it.

If it doesn't show up as a sport, you can bet it will end up as a reality show!!! I'm not into NASCAR at all. Who wants to watch a bunch of guys risking their lives and wrecking perfectly good cars?

Me too!!!!! Remember when Tom Wopat and John Schneider were off the show in a contract dispute and the storyline was that Bo and Luke had left to try their luck on the Nascar circuit. Just another reason to hate Nascar!

I refused to watch the Coy and Vance debacle...and still do!! (No offense to Byron Cherry and Chip Mayer, who did the best they could in a bad situation, but still...)
